		West Coast Luxury Accommodation Ballarat House - New Zealand Owned and Operated Your hosts, Ruth and Gary Thompson moved to the West Coast from Nelson, at the top of the South Island, in 2004. Gary is passionate about farming and also loves meeting people, while Ruth is never happier than when she is out shopping, but she also enjoys entertaining guests and visiting family and friends. Both are experienced travelers - two of their four children live overseas in Sydney, Australia and Chicago, USA - and they have based many of the features at Ballarat House on what they have found at some of the world's luxury accommodation. Meals Meals are available at nearby award-winning restaurants or can be delivered if required. An evening platter of local delicacies, wines and beers, evening port, and packed lunch of your choice are included in the tariff. A full breakfast is provided at your leisure, on your private patio or in the dining area, overlooking panoramic views. The suites have complimentary tea and coffee, nibbles, biscuits, chocolates, fresh fruit and flowers. Laundry facilities are available on request.
